Snow Day In North Carolina

Being from the North, I am defiantly used to seeing some snow in the winter time! Now I don't mind to much not having to deal with the cold weather however it was a nice change to have a little bit of white stuff on the ground.. and down here in the south we don't get many snow days! This winter storm got everybody turned around, the Military base was shut down, banks, restaurants, and other business' were all closed for a few days due to the snow!

Of course I had to take my little furball outside to play in the snow! and he was loving it!

Now as much fun as I had in the snow, because of everything being shut down, we all had a few extra days off to play in the snow!
And again, because we are in the south.. a sled isn't something that is normally in the garage, so we improvised with my favorite little "nephew" and put him in his walker as his "sled"

Their dog, Diesel, thought that it looked like fun and also wanted to pull his little brother around in the snow!

And of course with the snow and cold, comes bonfires :)

The boys decided to put some gasoline into the captain liquor bottle and set it on fire, even though I don't think that it was the smartest idea, it made for some really cool photos.. and thankfully didn't explode.

Escobedo Homecoming

Even though homecomings take some time waiting and waiting I absolutely love doing them!!
Seeing the happy families when they get reunited with their loved ones is always amazing!

Miss Nomra's husband was deployed for 7 months to Afghanistan with the Marine Corps.
She made signs for her hubbys homecoming, and they turned out awesome!

We got to Nobel Romans on MCAS New River, around 7pm, and Norma's precious baby girl was very much over waiting by the time they actually got in, which was around 9pm.

It took little miss.... to warm up to her daddy again, after all it had been 7 months since she had seen him last!

But once she realized who he was she was loving it!

Rogouski Family

I did Chris & Sherean's holiday photos and I absolutely love this little family of 5!
Sacara, Riley and Keaton are the adorable little kids

We went out to Hammocks Beach State Park to do their family photos!

Chris and Sherean had a 3rd little one visiting with them for a few days!
Sacara, Chris' 6 year old daughter
The kids wanted to do more running then picture taking!

Except then they found this tree, and everybody wanted their picture in the tree!

Sacara found a little caterpillar on the tree they were climbing on, and she wanted to rehome him in a different area of the park.

I gave the Riley and Sacara glitter and they had tons of fun making everything around them glitterly, along with me!

There will always be a little sibling rivalry, even though these 3 got along very well during the entire session.

After the kids running around all over the area, the kids stopped on this tree to play a little.

Keaton really wasn't happy at this point! All he wanted was some candy, which was promised as soon as we were done!

Once the kids knew that we were done, they were all happy again, because it meant then there would be candy!
